The audience for this website includes my clients and individuals interested in learning about my products and the process of creating each one. I have used the platform Wix.com to showcase and organize all the relevant information. One of the advantages of using Wix is that it looks clean and has a professional appearance, which makes it better for other platforms like Google Sites. Also, Wix allows for creating buttons that can link to different pages, enhancing user experience.

 

However, there are some cons of using Wix. It requires effort and time to put in information, such as adding images to the portfolio section. Rather than simply dragging and dropping images, there are multiple steps involved, such as accessing the media section. Despite these challenges, Wix stood out to me as a highly professional platform for creating my website.

 

Regarding the color scheme, I chose different color combinations for each unit. For example, the laser cut unit, which i feel like involves vibrant colors, features a colorful layout. On the other hand, for the Python unit, where the focus is on coding, I chose a cool toned palette with white and grey tones.

 

The viewing experience on laptops and phones is generally similar, with the main difference being that the

Eportfolio may appear longer on a phone screen. However, i think that the images and text are still readable even on a phone.

 

Initially, I was not satisfied with the simplicity of my website at the beginning of the year. However, as I progressed through the units, you can see that I invested more effort and added more information to each following unit. Although I no longer have the initial feedback I got in the begging of the year, I remember being advised to include more information on my design pages. As a result, you can observe my increased effort and attention to detail in the later units.

 

Overall, I am proud of the effort I have put into my eportfolio and for not giving up, even during moments of laziness. Moving forward, I aim to improve my time management and make sure to uploading of all my work from the eportfolio onto ManageBac. This would lead to a more cohesive and successful conclusion to each unit.
