The Full Story

DESIGN BRIEF 

My client's name is Patrick Johnson and the product I want to design for her is a laser-cut poster. For the design, I want to create something inspired by the famous “I ❤️NY” shirts. Though, I will change the “NY” part to whatever my client desires, such as her favorite food, animal, or tv show.

The materials I will be using for this project are wood and some paint to color the wood. The colors I will base my product on are red, white, and black. I’m planning to go for a simple design more than a complex design because the client wants to use this design piece as a poster or something you can hang on the wall. I would like to bring out something that will suit her room. For this to work, I would like to ask her for a picture of her room, and what style she wants.

 I’m super excited about this project so I can show my creative side to my client although it’s a simple design I want to make sure everything is nice and crisp.

Something I like about this picture is that it’s simple to make on adobe but it's not too simple to the point I can make it by writing with sharpie on the wood I also really like the font of the writing and the shape of the heart which I won't be able to get perfectly unless I do it online.
