Research proposal

Whos our client?

Our customer KAYA requested specific directions from us, however, we recommended and made a few adjustments instead.

KAYA’S WORDS: “I really want a short game that I can play with friends during break time in the mornings (between classes). It can be on a computer or be more of a handheld game (nothing too large, so I can transport it easily) and should be easy to learn + play.  We sometimes enjoy playing cards, but are interested in trying something new!”

Impact of our research

Since COVID, we have had to eat more quietly and spend more time on our devices. We gradually grew accustomed to this behavior, and even after COVID has ended, individuals continue to use their technology instead of interpersonal interaction. This device will enable students to socialize during breaks since 70% of students wish to start doing so during lunch. With this product, we hope to promote awareness of the value of social interaction. Since “Loneliness raises levels of stress hormones and blood pressure”

What other problems stem from this? Depression may also result from stress. (Boyes, 2013) According to a 2018 study published by the American Psychological Association, teens have worse mental health than people of any other age group, including higher levels of anxiety and sadness.

  • “I'd like to play the game for enjoyment.”

What design/color/shape would you like your product to be?
